Model Style: 6 Style Tricks From Suki Waterhouse

IMG_0037Suki Waterhouse is multi-talented–she’s a successful model and actress.  She’s known for her unique style but there’s no doubt, she is definitely an “It girl!”  If you love Suki’s style as much as me, read on to find out how you can dress like this British beauty.

1. Monochrome X Blush

Suki takes monochrome to another level by choosing a blush colored dress, coat and heels.  To break up all the blush, Suki added a bright corally-red lip and red nails.  Choosing one color is a quick and easy way to look chic without trying hard.  The pink belt is perfect for showing off her waistline and ties together the whole look.  This look is simple to recreate–just make sure you choose a light color and roll with it!

2. Flowy Dress X Funky Heels

Who says to be sexy you have to wear skintight?  Suki is wearing the perfect evening dress–a deep V neckline and flowy skirt.  The long hemline really lengthens your body, making you seem taller.  The blush tone is light and fun, and goes fantastic with her funky floral heels.  The heels add a youthful touch to the long dress and adds dimension.  She kept her makeup simple, opting for pink lips, and no accessories.  Simple and elegant! 3. Stripes X Mini Skirt X Blazer

This next look is casual cool, something Suki really knows how to do.  The striped colllared top tucked into a cream skirt and off white blazer are preppy alone, but red sunglasses, a silver necklace and brown boots add a quirky touch.  Make sure to leave a couple of buttons open and roll up the sleeves of your blazer/coat to make the look more casual.  The boots are key to dressing down the outfit and look so comfortable too.

4. 1970s Chic

Suki looks beautiful in her floral long sleeved V neck dress and mary jane heels.  The dress is very ’70s chic, especially with her choice of footwear.  Suki pulled her bangs back and decided to go with brown eyeshadow all the way up to her eyebrows, which I think looks fantastic!  While the dress is fancy, her hair, makeup and shoe choice make the look more fun!

5. Floppy Hat X Oversized Denim Jacket

Suki’s airport uniform was cool girl chic.  The floppy hat, oversized denim, white tee and white platform sneakers screams cool.  I love the oversized denim jacket because it’s not something I’ve seen a lot, as well as the maroon floppy hat, which adds a touch of funk to her look.  This sport chic look is perfect for daytime!

6. Accessories, Accessories, Accessories

Suki wore a blue and purple top/skirt combo, but what really caught my eye was what she decided to pair with it.  She wore a white duster coat, funky bag, and lacey brogues.  The shoes and bag are so unique and add fun to a fancy look.  She once again parted her bangs and wore brown eyeshadow all the way to her brows, which I think she pulls off.  The white duster coat perfectly balances the dark skirt and top, as well as the quirky bag and shoes.
