A New Way to Wear a White T-Shirt This Summer
A white t-shirt will always be a classic piece in your wardrobe, but sometimes it can get a little boring. Instead, why not mix it up by tying the base of the shirt in a knot and adding a bit of edge to your outfit? It’s simple, and it won’t damage your tee–just put a new twist to your OOTD. It adds a nice unique detail to a look, and shows a little skin without being overly exposed. Check out three ways to wear a tied t-shirt this summer!
1. Tied Up Tee X Graphic Midi Skirt
Iggy Azalea took a simple t-shirt and decided to make a centered knot to show off a little bit of her midriff. She paired her tee with a patterned midi skirt and white pointed heels. The knotted tee gives the overall look a unique touch and breaks up all the white in her look. It’s subtle but extremely flattering.

2. Side Knotted Tee X Black Vest X Jeans
Jennifer Grace, aka @TheNativeFox, shows us how to make the knotted tee look effortless and give off it girl vibes. She paired the knotted tee with a black vest, ripped jeans, strappy heels and a chain link purse. The knotted tee is a great way to break up the dark colors of the outfit–the denim and vest–and pull everything together. The peek of skin takes the tomboyish-like outfit and makes it sexier. The great thing about this look is that you only show the front part of your midriff–the back is still covered by the tee. This is a great way to show skin without feeling uncomfortable in a crop top.

3. Off The Shoulder Knotted Tee X Denim Skirt
Kendall Jenner took a white long sleeved t-shirt and changed it up quite a bit. She not only rolled her sleeves, but she also pulled the shirt to make it one shouldered, and knotted the hem. She paired her shirt with a denim skirt, belt and booties. Tying a knot on the base of your shirt is a nice twist to the classic combo of a white tee and denim bottoms. The off the shoulder top is another great way to make it sexier, as well as the peek of midriff.
