5 Different Ways to Wear White This Summer
This summer, instead of grabbing your black jeans and tops, why not try white? White is an amazing color to wear in the summer, because it’s effortless and light–you definitely won’t be hot in it! It’s also a classic color that will brighten your look, no matter what. Check out five different ways you could be wearing white this summer!
1. White T-Shirt Dress X Denim Jacket X Nude Heels
Kim Kardashian looks like the picture of summer, wearing a fitted white T-shirt ankle length dress with nude lace up heels. She brought along a light wash denim jacket–the perfect jacket for a white dress. The dress is super fitted but the tank top type sleeves of the dress and denim jacket keep the look casual. The nude colored heels compliment the dress and elongate her body.
2. White Blouse X White Midi Skirt X White Belt
Olivia Palermo looks so chic in her all white get up–white blouse tucked into a white midi skirt with a white belt, with a pop of color–her dark lace up heels. She wore simple accessories and had bright red nail polish. This look is great for work, a night out or even a fancy date! The monochrome color scheme pulls the whole look together and the red nails and heels give it a pop of color. To keep the look from being too white, she finished off the look with dark lace up heels, which give the outfit a nice edgy touch.
3. Cropped High Neck Blouse X High Waisted Trousers
Vanessa Hudgens wore a high neck cropped blouse with high waisted white trousers, nude heels and a black handbag. The cropped blouse actually is actually patterned, with some sheer elements to it–which balances out the crisp white trousers she paired it with. The nude heels are simple and compliment the formal look. Vanessa decided to add a black bag, which give a touch of edge to an overall fancy look. She wore her hair in a high bun, which gives us full view of the detailed high neck feature of her top.
Candice Swanepoel wore a button up Henley Tee with her white ripped denim, finishing off the look with a blue flannel tied around her waist and tan booties. This is such an effortlessly cool look, and very simple to recreate. Ripped white denim is a great addition to your wardrobe because it’s much fancier than blue or black colored denim, and it brightens up any look. The Henley t-shirt gives the outfit a sexy touch and looks so comfortable! The flannel gives the look a pop of color and makes it less formal. The nude booties are the perfect shoes for this look–they look tough because they’re boots, but the nude color keeps the look from being too edgy.
5. White Tank X Cuffed Pants X Blush Blazer X Pink Bag
Jessica Alba knows how to look cute and still look casual! In this look, she chose a white loose fitted tank, with white trousers she cuffed and flat sandals. Jessica added a pop of color with a blush colored blazer and a pink purse. Blush and pink colors look great with white, and this look is no exception. By cuffing the trousers, she makes the look less formal, along with the flats she wore. The blazer is very loose fitting and the hem is much longer than your normal blazer, but not long enough to be called a duster coat. This is a great length for the look because it’s more casual than a regular blazer and the length adds a definite chic factor. I’ve been seeing pink purses everywhere and the reason why is because it’s fun, it compliments pretty much any color you pair it with, and it’s different than your regular cream or nude purse.
