Lennon Stella

She became a household name after starring in the TV show Nashville. And Lennon Stella is also a bonafide fashionista. The 18-year-old actress has never been afraid to try bold fashion looks. Check out five style lessons I learned from the stunning Lennon Stella!

1.Floral Embroidered Overalls

Overalls are a staple for summertime but Lennon went above and beyond – she sported one featuring a skirt bottom (versus shorts) and floral embroidery. The black color of the piece is a nice contrast to the regular denim staple and the skirt element is (at least for me) more comfortable. Nobody likes sweating in fitted overall shorts! Lennon styled the unique item with an off-the-shoulder white top.
2. Printed bomber jacket

Lennon once again chose a detail oriented item – a printed bomber jacket – and I’m obsessed! The teenager rocked a maroon, green and brown striped cover up with floral embroidery for one Instagram picture. The boho style number is quite the statement piece. Lennon kept the rest of her look simple – opting for a black crop top, jeans and a choker.
Another printed look Lennon stunned in was a stunning Gucci bomber. The bomber featured a multitude of colors, making it a stand out piece. You can easily rock this look – Gucci or not – by choosing a similarly colorful silky bomber jacket.
3. Bandannas

Bandannas only seem to be popular during festivals, Lennon is bringing back the trend to a day to day basis. The Nashville actress tied hers in the front, adding layered necklaces and a bright red lipstick. The result is definitely classic with a twist. Try it as a fun way to jazz up an outfit. Trust me on this!
4. Button down dresses
Lennon Stella
Another staple for summer is a colorful dress, but try it a la Lennon – a sixties inspired button down number. The dress features a playful pattern as well with short sleeves. It’s deinitely not a trend piece – this type of dress is cute for school, work (maybe on a casual Friday haha) or for a date. They will be great this year, next year and pretty much as long as the piece last.
5. Polka dots
This is not a pattern for just kids! Polka dot patterns are timeless – for little ones to adults. It’s fun and playful and the perfect addition to your wardrobe. Lennon chose a rose patterned polka dot dress. The roses break up the black and white dots perfectly.
Or try a polka dot matching set like Lennon rocked for Coachella. The blonde chose a crop top and loose bottoms. She accented the pretty pieces with a lace embroidered choker and bright red lipstick.
